An old Jewish aphorism says the difference between smart man and a wise man is that a smart man knows how to extricate himself from a situation in which a wise man would never have found himself.....Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in speaking of the the American economic crisis says that it is born a of a spiritual crisis in which America for all its smarts lacks wisdom.....and this time even our smarts may not extricate us.
Rabbi Boteach states in part "The modern history of our country is built on a lie that says affluence,fame,and a shopping addiction are the secrets to happiness "............
Ponder the thoughts of the Rabbi and during this holy season stop.... think.......am I
SMART OR WISE and am I HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION WITH A HEART THAT LOOKS FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO HELP RATHER THAN TAKE....!!!!!!!
