It is the Christmas Season and the time for giving..........and if you have the urge to " do something". worthwhile........consider the LAURA FUND..........This is a memorial fund created by Frances(right) and Fred Speranza of Swampscott in honor of their Daughter,Laura Speranza..........
Fran and Fred faced a difficult passage,and instead of letting it tear them down.......they did just the opposite and created a fund that will continue for years by helping young people escape the torment and insidious results of drug use.............Nicer "folks" you cannot find..........They are a "little"liberal but even "those people "get it right.............sometimes.........
Money derived from the "fund " is given to Project Cope in Lynn, the Salvation Army's Woman Recovery Program,D.A.R.E., Recovery High School in Beverly,Journey's of Hope,Salem, Communities that Care in Lynn........along with a growing list.........
