A LESSON IN DISCIPLINE FROM THE PRESIDENT......

I am not talking about Obama being disciplined with his smoking, but rather the way he handles himself in a press conference. It is a lesson for us to reflect upon in our daily reaction with people............
Imagine being in the Washington D.C. Press and you get one chance to ask the President a question about any of the pressing issues live on national television...........THE QUESTION FROM A REPORTER........HOW MANY CIGARETTES DO YOU SMOKE EACH DAY ?

The President did not react in a defensive matter (which may be normal) considering that it appeared to be asked to embarrass him.....He did ask the reporter if he was trying to make him the issue rather than the purpose of the new cigarette law in a matter of fact way but not in an argumentative tone.

He appeared to be truthful in saying he has been smoking since he was young and considers himself 95% cured and does not smoke in front of his family.

He further related that the new legislation that he recently signed would help stop young people from smoking like he did in his early years.

His answer did not take away from the purpose of the press conference and at the same time showed his human side  with the fact that he is not perfect and like the rest of us has to work on his "demons".

HAVING A PLAN............A PURPOSE..........AND AN END RESULT......IS DISCIPLINE WITHOUT LETTING EMOTION OR ANGER BEING A DISTRACTION......................
