265..............HAD ROAST BEEF.......LAST NIGHT

It was busy last night at My Brother's Table............and thanks to the volunteers, 265 persons were fed Roast Beef between 5:30-7:30 .......The age range of these workers was 14-78 , and everyone got along great..... and the unanimous vote was " lets do this again ".......hopefully it will happen in the next month......

SUMMER NIGHT....BROTHERS TABLE...VOLUNTEER HEROES...

This was a great summer night to be relaxing

with friends and family after the first day back

to work after a great weekend.......

I am sure the people that volunteered

this evening were thinking that on their way to the

" Table " but they had committed to serve a

meal to more than  200 guests and their was

no turning back...............................

The Heroes I am talking about included; Shannon Gardner, Lily Gardner, K-Leigh Rowe, Shawn Rowe, and Ryan Nestor

Everybody worked hard and helped make some lives a little better this day.......God Bless.........

Once again don't forget the " Summer Party " August 13, 2009 at the Nahant CC ; GREAT FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT AND FRIENDSHIP FOR  "SHORT MONEY "

Remember the " Table " feeds people seven days a week and is supported solely by private donations.............not public funds or grants !!!!!!!!!

HELP THE POOR.....FEED THE HUNGRY....PARTY !!!

Have you volunteered at "BROTHERS TABLE" ? Think about this; MBT SERVES

LUNCH AND DINNER EACH WEEKDAY AND HAS BEEN AVERAGING APPROXIMATELY 80 FOR LUNCH AND OVER 200 AT DINNER. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY  ONE MEAL IS SERVED IN THE AFTERNOON WITH SIMILAR NUMBERS......

The entire operation is financed with private donations (none from your tax dollars).The largest fundraiser for the Summer is going to be August 13 at the Nahant Country Club.The finest local restaurants serve their food along with music and libations.
